These Terms of Service govern your use of BlueRig Logistics services and constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BlueRig Logistics.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging our services, accessing our website, or entering into a service agreement with BlueRig Logistics, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

BlueRig Logistics provides freight and logistics services including but not limited to:

  • Metro distribution and same-day delivery services
  • Container transport and handling
  • Linehaul deliveries and interstate freight
  • Custom logistics solutions
  • Related freight and transport services

All services are subject to availability, capacity, and our standard terms and conditions of carriage.

3. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your freight
  • Ensure all goods are properly packaged and labeled
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Pay all charges in accordance with agreed terms
  • Be available for pickup and delivery as scheduled
  • Declare any dangerous, hazardous, or prohibited goods
  • Provide safe and appropriate access for vehicles

4. Pricing and Payment

Pricing for our services is based on various factors including:

  • Distance and route
  • Weight, dimensions, and type of goods
  • Service level and urgency
  • Additional services required

Payment terms are typically 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts and recover all collection costs.

5. Liability and Insurance

Our liability for goods in transit is governed by:

  • Australian Consumer Law
  • Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)
  • Our standard terms and conditions of carriage
  • Any specific agreements made in writing

We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our operations. Customers are advised to maintain their own insurance for goods in transit where appropriate.

6. Prohibited Items

We do not transport the following items without specific arrangements:

  • Dangerous goods (without proper certification)
  • Illegal or prohibited substances
  • Perishable goods (without refrigeration arrangements)
  • Valuable items exceeding specified limits
  • Items requiring special permits or licenses

7. Delivery and Claims

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing. Any claims for loss, damage, or delay must be:

  • Reported within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery)
  • Submitted in writing with supporting documentation
  • Accompanied by original consignment notes if applicable

8. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government actions, war, terrorism, natural disasters, labor disputes, or equipment failures.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate ongoing service agreements with reasonable notice. These terms shall survive termination to the extent necessary to resolve any outstanding obligations or disputes.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
